"Bill Nye Saves The World"

WHY IS STEVE TALKING ABOUT THIS ALREADY? As long as there are humans, science can be relied on to haunt the world in due course, but there are too many cool small bonuses to wait until Sunday.
First a passing nod to Netflix, bringer of death to Blockbuster turned keen wielder of internal studios and fan service – because it would be weird to talk about cool science stuff on the web omitting mention of a surprise Bill Nye series.
(Not to mention Netflix also has the original Science Guy series, made in Seattle though I originally watched it from afar in Ontario. One episode even features some prescient electric car work at WWU! And if you didn’t catch his early 2000s “The Eyes of Nye”, it’s sort of a grown-up Science Guy – perhaps a stepping stone to this one.)
