Saturn: a seemingly flawless sphere endisced by a vast mist of massive solid specks. It’s possible to see the shape of our celestial neighbour of a good billion kilometres’ distance even through binoculars.
The Cassini probe concludes its 20-year mission this year with close passes to Saturn’s rings and gaseous body, and it’s just returned images that rend earthly concerns at a glance. Look at these!
