Right on cue.

I've just enjoyed the 2016 film Snowden, a lengthy, fact-based drama about someone I already thought a remarkable person.

The captioner knew what he or she was doing: when a character said "sequel," the transcription appropriately read "SQL," a database-related language. What else was there? "Siggint?" That would be "SIGINT," more digital security jargon. Those were satisfying to see throughout, but for a movie costing 40 million dollars, it would have been embarrassing to miss a single one.

Then, up this popped:

Everyday, I go in and I get starting points for SIGINT…
