Lucy (a new space probe) launches.

How did I miss this news from last week? Too many departures to unvisited areas of our solar system is a good problem.

This is the first mention I've noted of the "Trojan asteroids," which orbit the sun at about the distance of Jupiter. Already bearing a mental image of the solar system's original formation from gravity acting on dust and debris, this was an intuitive addition. Lucy's eddying course appears typically complex for a probe, using Earth's gravity to help it reach two clusters of these rocks.
