The tree of life, illustrated!
(Science Week, Day 1!)
And since the first day of Science Week is Darwin Day, I try to keep things biological, so today's selection is a fantastic rendering of life on Earth in summary. Only a handful of species could fit, of course, but the organism-scape is easy to eyeball and compare the distance of genetic relationships. (Tiktaalik made it in.) Sadly, I don't have a source or credit for this, but the file is still there after nine years and I only recently discovered it.
