An "everyday" misuse by the BBC.

Misuses of "everyday" are an everyday occurrence, but this one is right in a BBC top story. Have I ever seen even a typo in a BBC column?
(In their defence, Kevin McCarthy was the quotee there, so perhaps he just spelled it that way when he said it.)
